About the role National Parks and Wildlife Service is looking for an Assistant Customer Service Officer to work as an integral part of the customer service team, delivering technical services, central reservation services, revenue collection and system testing. Your responsibilities include: Assisting with booking and reservation systems across multiple channels. Supporting customer service processes and reporting on satisfaction and feedback. Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders such as Service NSW and industry partners. Contributing to a collaborative, customer-focused culture and supporting projects that enhance visitor engagement. This is a dynamic role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is passionate about tourism and the environment. About You You are a highly organised and motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative, busy and diverse setting. You possess strong technology skills and spreadsheet proficiency, are analytical with great attention to detail, and demonstrate creative problem solving along with excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with staff and stakeholders. You’ll play a key part in enhancing and implementing streamlined customer service systems, administering booking platforms, and supporting communication with stakeholders such as Service NSW and industry partners. Your passion for your community and environment, together with your commitment to delivering excellent and positive customer service, will be key to your success in this role. Essential requirements : Demonstrated experience supporting customer‑focused information, reservations and service centre operations delivered across multiple channels. Experience with multi-property reservation and transaction systems, customer relationship management, reporting and financial systems.
