Why This Role is Great for Radiography Students Gain valuable exposure to medical imaging workflows Build confidence speaking with patients and referrers Develop real-world experience in appointment coordination, patient flow, and clinical communication Work alongside radiographers, sonographers, and admin teams in busy imaging clinics Flexible shifts to complement your university timetable Position Details Role: Casual Medical Receptionist Hours: Shifts available between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm Monday to Friday Clinic Locations: Morningside, Springwood, Upper Mount Gravatt, Carina, and Capalaba (rotating schedule) What You’ll Do As the welcoming first point of contact for patients, you will: Provide warm, compassionate customer service Assist with appointment bookings and patient enquiries Help ensure smooth clinic operations and efficient patient flow Build positive relationships with patients, referrers, and team members Support our Upper Mount Gravatt bookings centre by managing phone enquiries and scheduling What We’re Looking For Clear and confident communication skills Strong organisation and multitasking ability Comfort using phones, booking systems, and basic computer applications A friendly, caring attitude and eagerness to learn Someone who thrives in a team environment This role is especially suited to radiography students wanting practical industry experience while completing their studies.
