Start Date: 2 February Contract Length: 2-week temporary assignment Hourly Rate: Up to $35 per hour super Location: Sydney CBD ABOUT THE COMPANY This well-established allied health clinic provides physiotherapy and movement-based services to a broad client base in a professional, welcoming environment. Known for its warm and personable approach, the clinic places strong emphasis on patient experience, clear communication and smooth day-to-day operations. ABOUT THE ROLE This temporary Medical Receptionist role has been created to cover a planned leave period. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless front-of-house experience while supporting the clinical team with day-to-day reception duties. This role is well-suited to someone with prior medical or allied health reception experience who can confidently hit the ground running. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where strong communication, initiative and customer service are essential. DUTIES Greet and assist patients as they arrive at the clinic Answer phones and manage email enquiries Take patient payments Process private health and Medicare-related transactions Support physios with patient flow between rooms Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming reception, gym and kitchen area Assist with general administrative and front-of-house tasks as required SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Previous experience as a Medical or Allied Health Receptionist (minimum 1 year preferred) Confidence handling patient payments and health insurance claims Strong customer service skills with a warm, professional communication style Ability to remain calm and organised during busy clinic periods High level of initiative and willingness to help where needed Experience with Cliniko or similar practice management systems (highly regarded but not essential) OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS At Lotus People, we are committed to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion.
