The Role: We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers to join our team in Tarragindi, QLD. This role involves assisting a 51-year-old female participant who has sustained acquired brain injury. Key Responsibilities: Companionship Assistance with planning outings Assistance with rehab exercises Assistance and driving to community access This role is casual on-going and will involve a roster that includes: 2-3 days a week between Monday to Friday: 9am to 12pm Compensation: Day Shift - $40 p/h Skills & Experience Required: Prior experience working with people who has acquired brain injury Australian Drivers Licence and insured Vehicle is a MUST Current First Aid & CPR Certificate 3 in individual support National Police Clearance NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module and Supporting Effective Communication Module NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with Children Check Full Australian working rights Positive Attitudes and flexibility in shift times Please note: Two current references are required.
