Your New Role We are in the middle of an exciting technical and cultural transformation. Our current platform combines many independently deployed services with a customer experience stitched together from several different web technologies. While this has served us in the past, this level of complexity makes it hard to reason about end-to-end journeys and slows our ability to deliver safely and often. Your role helps us simplify and stabilise this landscape across both our services and front-end experiences. You will support the move toward a more unified architecture, build pragmatic automated tests around critical flows, and give engineers fast, reliable feedback so we can ship small, safe changes every day. Test and build the new unified front-end architecture that replaces our current multi-technology stack Leverage pragmatic testing practices that enable rapid, confident releases without excessive test maintenance burden Work with product and design teams to deliver end-to-end customer experiences Identify gaps in test coverage and work with the team to address them Provide technical product support Participate in code reviews to learn our systems, providing critical feedback opportunities. Your Skills and Experience Curiosity, energy and a strong desire to grow as an engineer, with a mindset of continual learning. Evidence that you can learn new technologies quickly, for example through university work, side projects or internships. Willingness to work in a high accountability, high performance engineering culture. Comfort investigating problems, asking for help early and working with others to find pragmatic solutions. Clear written and verbal communication, especially when explaining tradeoffs and asking questions. You are proud of what you build and are keen to walk us through examples of your own code, side projects or university work. Join G'day Group: Disrupt, innovate, and ignite your career! Police check & driver's licence required for this role.
