This contractor is at the forefront of the CSG, pipeline & energy infrastructure construction sector, and has a long history of the successful delivery of integrated, multi-disciplinary construction and engineering projects for clients across Australia. An opportunity has just arisen to join their team on a long-term CSG contract in Queensland on a 19:9 Roster (travel in the 19) on a BIBO (bus in bus out) basis from Brisbane. Offering an immediate start with a secure workload, this is a great opportunity for an ambitious Engineer. Role As the Senior Quality Engineer, you will help manage the requirements of the Project Quality Plan but utilising the company's IMS and project plans. In addition, responsibilities include; Assist field personnel with QA/QC resources and IT systems. Conduct required Quality Control site inspections as per approved ITP’s. Track fusion jointing register and databases. Provide QA notifications. Monitor, prompt and report on Construction Team’s FIC/ITR/FTR completion. Liaise with the Procurement Manager to ensure that material traceability records are current, and registers are up to date. Attend Quality/Project Meetings and provide updates as required. Compile and verify completion and test records for handover. Definition and management of all pre-construction and front-end engineering deliverables to allow commencement of work packages in accordance with the Project schedule. Compile, issue and control Construction Work Packs. Background To secure this opportunity we are seeking a candidate with relevant tertiary qualifications, 5 years' experience in the delivery of infrastructure projects (CSG & pipelines ideal), significant experience of HDPE construction management processes/technology, auditor certification (preferred) and sound understanding in the application and management of a Construction Management System i.e. CCMs or CMS.
