About the role Genetic Health Queensland is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Administration Officer to lead and coordinate our administrative team. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the daily operations of our busy outpatient service, ensuring our patients receive timely, accurate and compassionate support. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: * Demonstrate leadership by modelling and promoting professional competence, accountability and ethical behaviour and commitment to the vision and values of Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS) whilst leading organisational and cultural change as it impacts on staff and/or processes. * Prioritise tasks and ensure work targets are achieved within designated timeframes with limited supervision and contribute to team goals in a changing environment. * Promote a culture of quality improvement by leading and facilitating the analysis of work practices and processes to maximise efficiency and consistency; and be responsible for the production and maintenance of high-quality work process manuals and resources. * Complete regular audits and management reports in line with human resource management and industrial relations processes.
