About the Team The Queensland Specialist Immunisation Service provides vaccination advice and provides Specialist Immunisation clinics to children who may have had a reaction to immunisation before or are at risk of having one, have an underlying medical condition which impacts vaccination, need to be supervised in a hospital after being immunised or have immunisation needs that can't be met in the community. About the Role In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include: * Greeting patients and their families and responding to their needs. * Providing a professional telephone service. * Providing directions and advice regarding locations of services/and/or patients within the facility. * Provide an efficient and professional administrative support, which includes: * To provide excellent customer focus in a friendly and helpful manner, maintain the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with parents, patients, members of the public and departmental staff both in person and over the telephone. * Undertaking administrative tasks to support patient flow, patient care and movements within the facility. * Liaising with various departments with regards to resources required. * Maintaining data integrity by checking all data in the patient information and billing systems and modifying/updating to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
