About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator (Construction Administrator) to join the team. This is a key operational role that sits at the heart of the business, supporting the construction and approvals process and contributing directly to smooth project delivery and strong client outcomes. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the role is heavily involved in the pre-construction and approvals phase, working across multiple residential projects and estates. Key Responsibilities Prepare and lodge building approval applications with councils and private certifiers Coordinate with local councils, private certifiers, engineers, surveyors and consultants Request and manage soil tests, surveys, energy assessments and pre-construction reports Maintain accurate approvals registers, checklists and trackers Communicate regularly with clients, internal teams and external stakeholders Review estate covenants and design guidelines Support continuous improvement of approvals and documentation processes Contract Admin Duties Residential pre-construction and approvals administration Document control and compliance tracking Managing consultant documentation across multiple estates Supporting construction readiness and smooth handover to site teams Using Buildertrend or similar construction management systems Requirements Experience as a Construction Administrator, Contract Administrator or Construction Coordinator within residential construction Strong understanding of building plans (new builds, off the plan), terminology and approval processes Highly organised with strong attention to detail Confident written and verbal communication skills Proficient in MS Office; Buildertrend experience highly desirable Ability to work full-time onsite (no WFH flexibility) Benefits Salary $75K – $95K Super (depending on experience) Secure, full-time role with a growing residential builder Modern Morningside office with free onsite parking Supportive team culture and strong leadership Excellent career progression opportunities About Us: If you are a candidate, we listen to your career goals and offer unbiased and honest career advice to assist you in making the right move for your career.
