This role involves supporting teaching and learning in a multi-age Year 3/4 classroom and assisting with library services, including student borrowing, resource organisation, and maintaining an inviting library space. This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.63FTE), 48 hours per fortnight. This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months. About The Role This role involves supporting teaching and learning within a multi-age Year 3/4 classroom and assisting with library services. You will play a key role in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students while helping to maintain an organised and welcoming library space. Key Responsibilities Include Assisting teachers with the preparation and organisation of learning materials and activities. Supporting students with reading, literacy, and numeracy activities, both individually and in small groups. Providing assistance with library services, including resource organisation, student borrowing, and maintaining an inviting library space. Supervising and assisting students during school activities, excursions, and playground time. Contributing to the welfare, health, and safety of students, including the delivery of first aid if required.
