About the role Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people experiencing a first episode of psychosis? Join our Early Psychosis Service and deliver advanced-level clinical care and leadership within a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed framework. In this pivotal role, you will: * Provide specialist social work, psychology, or occupational therapy services to consumers, families, and carers. * Lead the planning and delivery of evidence-based therapeutic interventions that support recovery and resilience. * Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and key stakeholders to ensure best-practice care. * Drive service improvement, research, and education initiatives focused on the Early Psychosis Care Pathway, sharing learnings across Metro North Mental Health. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: * Apply advanced-level clinical knowledge and skill regarding Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) in mental health treatment in the provision of individual and group-based clinical services to consumers experiencing a first episode of psychosis, in accordance with professional practice, ethical and mental health standards. * Apply advanced-level advocacy within the healthcare system by engaging in complex inter-sectoral liaison and partnerships with key agencies and stakeholders. This includes facilitating linkages and communicating complex clinical information to address consumer needs and promote equitable access to services. * Provide leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the MNMH Early Psychosis Care Pathway and associated resources, procedures and protocols that support the continuum of care, improve consumer care, and contribute to the development of an innovative adult mental health service using change management principles to support successful adoption.
