Key responsibilities: * Maintain Victim Assist Queensland files in accordance with policies and procedures of the Unit. Register and review new applications in accordance with policies and procedures. * Request, collect and review required information in processing applications in accordance with policies and procedures from the Department of Child Safety, Workcover, QCAT, Queensland Corrective Services and Compulsory Third-Party Insurance. * Maintain the release of information in accordance with administrative release policies and procedures. * Process and respond to emails in accordance with policies and procedures of the Unit. * Liaise with clients and their representatives as required in relation to applications for assistance. * Communicate effectively and create relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including other departmental business units and the non-government sector, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of Victim Assist services. * Participate productively and collaboratively as a member of a team in delivering support and services to staff and clients. * Maintain accurate records within the Victim Assist database on applications for assistance. * Other appropriate administrative tasks as required and allocated.
