About the Opportunity An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. This site-based role reports to the Engineering Superintendent and operates on an 8:6 roster. Your focus will be on providing engineering and project leadership to deliver capital and sustaining projects that support the site’s long-term performance and reliability. Your primary responsibilities will include: Leading the delivery of capital and sustaining projects to support Golden Grove’s operational performance, safety, and long-term asset strategy. Providing mechanical and multidisciplinary engineering leadership across all phases of project development and execution. Managing project scope, cost, schedule, and risk in line with 29Metals’ capital governance and site standards. Overseeing contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient project outcomes. Driving safe project delivery through strong HSEC leadership, risk management, and compliance with regulatory and engineering standards. Developing and mentoring project team members to build a high-performance, safety-focused culture. About You Our ideal candidate will have strong project engineering experience, including proven ability in end-to-end project delivery, within mining, minerals processing, or a similar heavy industry. Other key skills, experience, and qualifications: A tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering. Demonstrated experience delivering capital and sustaining projects. Broad exposure to mechanical systems, including materials handling, pumps, mills, crushers, hydraulics, and rotating equipment. Experience working across multidisciplinary engineering interfaces, including civil, structural, and electrical. A current C-class manual driver’s licence.
