What You Will Be Working On In this role, you’ll design, build, and support LAN, WAN, and cloud network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Your work will include: Designing and implementing network solutions for new projects and BAU growth Supporting and enhancing VPN connectivity with external partners Managing and troubleshooting Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls Supporting Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching environments Monitoring performance, capacity planning, and resolving complex network issues Investigating and responding to network and security incidents Identifying, advising on, and remediating network and security risks Working closely with internal teams to resolve connectivity and production issues This is a hands-on role where your decisions directly support trading platforms, client connectivity, and business continuity. What Type Of Person Will Be Successful You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working in production environments, take pride in building resilient systems, and stay calm under pressure. You’ll bring: CCNP qualification (minimum) Strong experience designing and supporting data centre and cloud networks Hands-on experience with SD-WAN Solid knowledge of Cisco switching (Catalyst, Nexus) Clear documentation and communication skills Experience in trading, financial services, market data feeds, multicast, Cisco ACI, Meraki Wireless, or Palo Alto firewalls will be highly regarded.
