Your role at St John of God Subiaco Hospital As an experienced Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the provision of safe and compassionate clinical care, whilst working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve best practice patient outcomes. Our Cardiac Cath Lab (CVIL) offers state-of-the-art equipment and highly trained medical staff to provide the best care for patients with heart conditions. Our team is dedicated to ensuring each patient receives personalized treatment and support throughout their recovery journey. SJGH Subiaco have a current redevelopment of the “Heart Centre”, which will bring together Cardiac Interventional Services and a new Coronary Care Unit. We provide opportunities for nurses to enhance and discover new skills, supporting a range of different case mixes. The Position Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required. Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital. Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate. Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and precepting staff. Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives. You will have a minimum of one year's experience in a Cath Lab , registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills. To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
