Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North. In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver. About the Role Reporting to the Executive Office Coordinator this role will provide high level, professional administrative support services, and assistance to Digital Metro North (DMN). This position is required to assist in setting priorities to organise and monitor the administrative operations of DMN to support the achievement of organisational goals and objectives. Key knowledge and experience The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following: * Provide high level independent, consistent, and timely professional and confidential assistance/advice to Digital Metro North in a complex, fast paced, and sensitive working environment. * Well-developed skills using Microsoft Office® software i.e., Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint and the ability to acquire knowledge of other Queensland Health specific software. * Ability to achieve work targets with limited supervision and contribute to team goals in a changing environment by: * Coordinating workload priorities and ensuring effective time management practices are implemented. * Operating with a high level of independence while setting realistic goals, objectives, and priorities. * Screening and directing enquiries in a timely manner and responding to these within set delegation of the role or escalating as appropriate. * Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team with limited supervision, meeting deadlines, establishing work priorities, and exercising judgement and resourcefulness to resolve concerns. * Act as a reference point for departmental staff by providing professional and timely advice and guidance. * Demonstrating the ability to plan, organise, coordinate, and manage all secretarial and administrative duties as assigned, including: * Identifying areas for improvements and implementing enhancements to existing administrative practices. * Providing high level administration support for the DMN meetings. * Ensuring timely distribution of meeting agendas, minutes, and actions to meet required deadlines. * Supporting DMN in the development and implementation of strategies which align with the operational and strategic needs of the business.
