About the Role TEN Recruitment is working with a well-established Tier 2 commercial builder to secure an experienced Leading Hand for a steady run of Perth metro projects. This role is suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on, supporting site leadership, and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. You’ll be part of a practical, well-organised site team where communication is clear and development is encouraged. What You’ll Be Doing Assist the Site Manager and Project Manager with daily site operations Coordinate trades and subcontractors to maintain momentum on site Help manage sequencing, deliveries, and work fronts Support WHS requirements, toolbox talks, and site compliance Keep site records and assist with basic reporting What We’re Looking For Trade background (carpentry preferred) Previous experience as a Leading Hand or similar supervisory role Good working knowledge of commercial construction processes Safety-conscious with a practical, organised approach Perth-based with full Australian working rights What’s in It for You Hourly rate plus penalties and allowances Permanent, metro-based work — no FIFO or long travel Consistent pipeline with a reputable Tier 2 builder Supportive site environment with genuine career progression Opportunity to step into higher site leadership roles over time If you’re ready to move into a stable role where your experience is valued and your growth is supported, this is a solid next step.
