This is a Senior Automation Engineer Superannuation Domain role with XPT Software based in Melbourne, VIC, AU XPT Software Role Seniority - senior More about the Senior Automation Engineer Superannuation Domain role at XPT Software As a Senior Automation Engineer in the Superannuation domain, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of Investment platforms and systems that support member services, fund administration, and regulatory reporting. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust testing outcomes using tools like Tosca, JIRA and Zephyr. Key Responsibilities: · Analyze functional requirements related to superannuation platforms and translate them into detailed test plans and test cases – Both Manual and Automation · Lead and execute testing across functional, integration, regression, and support UAT phases. · Use JIRA and Zephyr for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting. · Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca. · Automate functional, regression, and integration test cases. · Conduct API and UI testing using tools (e.g., Postman). · Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure complete test coverage. · Document test results and provide quality reporting to project leads and Test Manager. · Mentor junior testers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. · Support data validation testing for member and investment platforms. · Identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency. Required Skills & Experience: · 10 years of software testing experience, with at least 2 to 3 years in superannuation or financial services. · Strong experience in Automation Tool : Tricentis Tosca (Mandatory) – at least 5 years of work experience · Strong manual testing expertise and understanding of QA methodologies. · Strong understanding of Agile practices and at least 3 years of working in Agile team · Proficiency in JIRA, Zephyr, and other test management tools. · Familiarity with superannuation concepts, and Investment options. · Experience with SQL, XML, and data validation techniques. · Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. · ISTQB certification or equivalent.
