Description Bellevue Gold is seeking an experienced Senior Production Engineer (Underground Mining) to join our dynamic mining team. Relocation support provided to Perth if required. Duties and Responsibilities Function: Support the Planning Team in delivering weekly schedules aligned with 3MS and Budget. Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Mining Contractor, to execute daily and weekly plans, ensuring safe work practices and compliance. Prepare, review, and maintain company procedures, standards, and templates. Deliver safe and efficient production plans (drilling, charging, remote bogging). Conduct stope reconciliations, monitor performance, and implement improvements. Assist the Projects Team with infrastructure projects and preparation of work instructions. Provide regular updates to the Underground Manager on production issues, actions, and progress. Support the Underground Manager with technical tasks, statutory appointments, and provide coverage when required. Assist the Statutory Ventilation Officer with surveys, monitoring, and compliance. Undertake underground inspections, audits, and critical control verifications, driving compliance within the Production Team. Coordinate short-term/daily activities with contractors and technical staff. Validate sections of contractor claims. Ensure compliance with WHS (Mining) 2022 requirements. Develop and implement Safe Systems of Work. Manage and support minor contracts (e.g., raisebore, underground civil works). Mentor and develop Production Engineers and Graduate Engineers. Responsibilities: Deliver and implement weekly schedules, including chairing production meetings. Develop safe and efficient production designs (drilling, charging, remote bogging). Complete stope reconciliations and follow through on improvement actions. Maintain drill and blast standards, guidelines, and templates. Prepare extraction notes, work instructions, and technical documentation. Manage data collection, analysis, and reporting. Oversee contractor performance (e.g., raisebore, boxholes, hole surveys). Support ventilation planning and survey activities. Drive production projects focused on optimisation and cost reduction.
