This is a Senior Identity Engineer role with Data3 based in Sydney, NSW, AU Data3 Role Seniority - senior More about the Senior Identity Engineer role at Data3 6 month initial contract with possible extensions Mix of WFH and Central Sydney office A Senior Identity Engineer is required to deliver hands-on expertise across Entra ID application onboarding, SSO integrations, and SCIM provisioning. This role involves engaging directly with business stakeholders and application owners, selecting the appropriate integration patterns, configuring solutions end to end, and guiding other engineers on best practice. Key Responsibilities Meet with business users and application teams to understand requirements and determine the appropriate Entra ID onboarding pattern Configure SSO integrations (SAML, OIDC) and SCIM provisioning, ensuring all relevant security controls are applied Review and quality check the work of other engineers, providing coaching and guidance Support day-to-day operational identity tasks within the team Troubleshoot complex issues across application onboarding, authentication flows, and provisioning Maintain documentation, patterns, and technical standards Contribute to uplift of identity capability and consistency across the environment Skills and Experience Strong hands-on experience with Entra ID application registrations Deep working knowledge of SAML, OIDC, OAuth2, and SCIM provisioning Ability to assess requirements and recommend suitable authentication and integration patterns Solid understanding of identity governance concepts and security controls Experience reviewing the work of other engineers and providing guidance Strong stakeholder communication skills, particularly with business and application teams Experience in complex enterprise environments Interested candidates who meet the required skillset of the role are encouraged to apply via the link with an updated resume.
