The Position We're looking for an experienced High Voltage engineer with a strong background in the mining, renewables or civil infrastructure industry. By joining our team, you'll work on major projects in regional Western Australia, including scopes such as transmission, distribution, switch-yards, switch-rooms, solar farms, and large-scale battery energy storage initiatives. Key Responsibilities As a HV Project Engineer you will be responsible for planning, design support, construction oversight, installation and commissioning of electrical infrastructure. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Oversee installation of HV equipment such as transformers, switchgear, and circuit breakers, overhead power lines, substations Implement electrical safety protocols for high-voltage environments. Ensure adherence to local and international electrical codes. Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other engineers. Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for HV projects. Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
