The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure partners with community, business, and government to deliver integrated, sustainable infrastructure and services across the NT. The Role Two opportunities are available for Principal Project Engineers to join Infrastructure NT, contributing to the Territory Energy Link (TEL) and Adelaide River Off-stream Water Storage (AROWS) projects. Infrastructure NT, the Northern Territory’s infrastructure body, undertakes strategic infrastructure planning and development that coordinates and aligns infrastructure needs with economic and population growth, and delivers nationally significant infrastructure projects. The Territory Energy Link project is a major infrastructure project that will connect key energy projects in the Beetaloo Sub Basin to the proposed Middle Arm Precinct and other strategic infrastructure in Darwin. The AROWS project is a unique and innovative major water infrastructure project that can deliver complementary outcomes of water availability and environmental sustainability on a scale not seen anywhere else in Australia. You will be responsible for providing high level technical advice, coordination, management and support in driving the engineering design process on these major infrastructure projects. About you A Bachelor or higher degree in civil engineering or similar field Registration, or eligibility for registration with Engineers Australia Demonstrated high-level experience in civil design, pre-construction documentation development and construction techniques and practices Strong project and contract management skills and high level knowledge and experience coordinating complex, multi-disciplined project elements of major civil infrastructure projects High-level oral and written communications, with the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise with a diverse group of stakeholders Proven ability to clearly articulate complex concepts, provide concise and accurate reports, briefings and submissions, including the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts.
