You will be accountable for the overall performance of your squad, managing stakeholder engagement (Marketing, Underwriting, Operations) and motivating individual squad members to deliver exceptional customer outcomes at every opportunity. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of the sales and sales care effort, ensuring the squad is happy, human and high performing against its Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) by 30 June 2026. This is a key leadership role. It requires a strong and visible coaching presence across the squad, supported by consistent operating rhythms including huddles, training sessions, and one-on-one conversations. To foster connection and culture, the role must include regular in-person engagement, ideally 4-5 days per week. Job Description Key Deliverables Supercharge Sales – Deliver $4m (pro rata Q2-Q4) in FY26 sales (L2S = 13.5%) by leading and motivating your squad’s effort across the customer acquisition funnel. Accountable for commercial outcomes. Target Operating Model (TOM) – Implement, test, learn and continually improve a best practice squad TOM, ensuring alignment with NobleOak’s purpose and growth ambitions. Implement squad rhythms (meetings, one-on-ones, training, reporting, tracking) for an engaged, informed, and accountable squad. High Performance Culture – Embed a high performance culture (of trust, transparency and accountability) to motivate your squad to exceed individual targets and squad OKRs. This includes striking a balance between inter-squad competitions and inter-squad collaboration to ensure company-wide OKRs are met. Talent & Incentives – Assess current talent and ensure the right people are in the right roles for future success. Refine existing incentives and commission structures to drive performance and align with business objectives, risk appetite and ASIC requirements. Strategic Initiatives – Squad Leads will also be appointed to one of the following key strategic roles: (1) AI Champion, (2) Medicals/UHG Champion, (3) CX/Reviews Champion. Squad Leads will be accountable for delivering the OKRs required by such appointments and its associated workstreams/initiatives. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership – Provide leadership and coaching to Squad members, ensuring clarity of vision, healthy inter-squad competition, alignment to NobleOak’s FY26 strategy, and delivery of Squad team OKRs. Sales Care Management – Daily review of Sales Care queues and inboxes to assign tasks across squads and agents, to ensure delivery of squad and company-wide OKRs. Synergistic Benefits – Work closely with key stakeholders across the broader business to identify and unlock Sales team synergies with Marketing, Underwriting, Technology and Operations. Performance Tracking – Live tracking of agent performance to ensure all SLAs are met (e.g. GOS, OKRs). Squad Administration – Manage Squad team calendars, allocate shifts and circulate rosters each week. Success Criteria Improvement in team engagement and motivation scores. Successful implementation of new TOM, working rhythms, team structure. Achievement of squad OKRs by 30 June 2026, including sales target of $4m (pro rata). Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and NobleOak policies.
