Key Responsibilities & Duties Material Handling: Load, unload, and move palletized goods, containers, cartons, and other materials between trucks, storage yard. Safe Operation: Operate forklifts (electric, gas, diesel) safely and efficiently, following designated routes and protocols to prevent damage to stock or equipment. Inventory Management: Transport items to correct storage locations, assist with stock rotation. Equipment Maintenance: Conduct pre-shift inspections, identify wear/damage, and perform minor servicing or adjustments. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to strict safety guidelines, report incidents, and maintain a tidy workspace. Documentation: Complete logs, records, and reports related to materials moved and equipment status. Essential Skills & Requirements Certification: Valid HRWL LF Physical: Good hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, ability to lift (e.g., 50 lbs). Attention to Detail: Accuracy in stacking, scanning, and following instructions. Safety Focus: Strong commitment to risk assessment and safety protocols. Teamwork: Ability to work independently and with a team. Technical: Basic math, ability to read documents, familiarity with scanners/WMS is a plus.
