Job Description The Opportunity You’ll be our onsite café lead, sole charge during your shift to begin with until our grand opening. You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional service and supporting our Chef with a light menu. Shifts run 8am–4pm, Monday to Sunday, and you’ll need to work at least one weekend day. We’re hiring two team members as well as a casual position to cover these hours. The role begins on 9 February and is offered as a fixed-term position, with the possibility of becoming permanent. Once the café opens fully to residents in March, there will be more shifts on offer—first in, best dressed to choose your preferred roster. What You’ll Do Prepare and serve barista-quality coffee and beverages Assist the Chef with basic cooking and light menu preparation (wraps, sandwiches, slices, etc.) Deliver outstanding customer service to residents, families, and visitors Manage café operations, including opening/closing, cash handling, and stock control Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment Support village events and resident activities as needed Click here to view the position description.
