Our Destination 2030: Great Care for Central Queenslanders strategy will see Gladstone Hospital developed as a centre for emergency care, medical inpatient and day surgery excellence. In October 2020 Queensland Health acquired the co-located private hospital to expand the service footprint of the Gladstone campus. About the role: The Administration Coordinator coordinates and appropriately resources Gladstone Hospital Administration Officers (AO3), planned and emergent leave requests, roster management and development and undertakes professional development across the facility. About you: * Maintain an effective communication network with all administrative officers and their respective line managers through meetings and participation in departmental interdisciplinary meetings. * Undertake project work relevant to Administrative Support Services, as determined by the Director of Corporate and Support Services. * Coordinate and manage recruitment processes for direct report staff pools in alignment with Queensland Health policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. * Maintain and manage the administration rosters across all units to support the placement, backfill and application of rostering rules for administration streams including the newly released IWFM payroll system.
