Your next career opportunity Join the Melbourne Institute as a Research Support Officer, contributing to the renowned Household, Income and Labour Dynamics in Australia (HILDA) Survey. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the integrity and accessibility of this influential longitudinal study. You'll gain invaluable experience in data management, documentation, and user support, while developing technical skills that will enhance your career in research and data analysis. Your responsibilities will include: Data Management: Undertake data checking, editing, and acceptance testing of survey scripts and online questionnaires. Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive data documentation, including the HILDA Codebook Database and user manuals. User Support: Provide technical advice and training to HILDA Survey users, ensuring effective utilization of the data. Project Contribution: Attend meetings, contribute to ongoing improvements, and perform administrative tasks as required. You may be a great fit if: You are a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, a passion for data integrity, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to diverse stakeholders. You may also: Possess a relevant tertiary qualification in a field such as statistics, data science, or social sciences. Have experience in data management, documentation, and user support. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Be proficient in using statistical software and data analysis tools.
