About your role: * Manage and organise all aspects of administrative support for the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) within the Cassowary Area Community Health (CACH) team ensuring confidentiality, integrity and efficiency. * Prepare appropriate replies to routine correspondence for consideration and/or dispatch, ensuring a high presentation quality, combined with a broad knowledge of Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS) CHSP work practices and in accordance with departmental requirements. * Participate in the development and ongoing data entry of quality improvement activities related to the CHSP Accreditation process and Aged care Standards and ensure CHSP folders have current and updated information. * Assist with CACH team meetings minutes and agendas as required, set up video conferencing equipment. * Effectively communicate with clients, carers, CACH/CHSP clinicians and staff, requires relevant experience when answering client enquiries via the telephone, ensuring the enquiries are directed to the appropriate staff member within the acceptable time frames.
