Your new role: In these senior administration positions, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient coordination of patient services and the effective operation of administrative teams. Your responsibilities may include: * Leading and supervising administrative staff, including rostering, workload management, performance planning, and staff development. * Coordinating patient appointments and schedules across daycare, outpatient, Gamma Knife, telehealth bulk billing services and more. * Maintaining compliance with budget, safety, and quality standards while identifying opportunities for process improvement. * Resolving operational issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. * Maintaining effective administrative systems, records, and reporting requirements. * Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and administration processes where relevant. * Promoting a culture of fairness, respect, and cultural sensitivity in interactions with patients, staff, and stakeholders. See attached role descriptions for more detailed role information About you: To succeed in this role, you will bring: * Strong administrative and office procedure skills within a busy environment. * The ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences while maintaining confidentiality. * A commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement. * Excellent organisational skills to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. * Familiarity with Queensland Health systems (e.g., HBCIS, ieMR, Powerchart, MOSAIQ, MedClaims, ESM) is desirable. * Advanced computer literacy across the Microsoft Office Suite. * Knowledge of medical terminology (desirable). * A respectful and compassionate approach aligned with Metro South Health values.
