Description We currently have an opportunity for a licenced Electrician to join our Health and Education team. Reporting to Facility Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. The position is in Parkville and we are looking for someone that can work Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm. What You’ll Do (key responsibilities) This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Perform routine maintenance on electrical infrastructure and equipment, including transformer inspections and load testing of emergency generators. Conduct RCD testing, insulation testing, and meter calibration to ensure compliance with industry standards. Prioritize and manage workloads to complete tasks efficiently within required deadlines. Ensure a safe and hazard-free workplace by adhering to health and safety standards and reporting any hazards. Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with team members and respond effectively to customer needs. What You’ll Bring (Certification) Trade certification or licence in relevant field Current applicable Electrical licence Occupational Health and Safety Construction Induction (White Card) Work at Heights Qualification (preferable) Safe Work in Confined Space Qualification (preferable) Elevated Work Platform under 11m Qualification (preferable) What You’ll Bring (Experience) At least 5 years’ demonstrable post trade experience working in a Commercial and/or Healthcare Facilities C-Bus or Lighting control experience preferred. Providing maintenance services in a multi- site environment Working in a building maintenance position involving large volumes of assets and programmed servicing schedules Emergency Lighting systems Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering a positive team culture. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Commitment to workplace health and safety, with a proactive approach to identifying risks.
