Ongoing full-time local work Immediate start available Well maintained vehicles and positive work environment We're looking for a Tilt Tray (HR) Driver for predominantly local runs. Based from our Archerfield depot, you’ll be joining a great team delivering forklifts and plant to our customers. We have a Full-Time Driver position and a Relief Driver/Warehouse position - with this role also moving to a full time driving position down the track. Why join Howie Transport Ongoing full time work with development opportunities Training provided and immediate start available Good pay rates with uniform and phone supplied Positive working environment with well maintained vehicles About the role Monitor and maintain a schedule to ensure timely deliveries Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner Load and unload forklifts and plant Operate vehicles in a safe manner Keep all paperwork up-to-date daily Report to coordinator as necessary and promptly raise issues Work autonomously as well as part of a team Contribute to a safe and harmonious working environment Relief Driver/Warehouse position will also include: loading/unloading trucks, containers & equipment; general movement & storage within the yard; maintain a clean & orderly warehouse. What you'll need Current HR drivers licence (HC licence an advantage but not required) Fit with ability to undertake manual handling Flexibility to accept various runs Driver history and pre employment medical Current forklift licence and MSIC beneficial, but not essential Good knowledge of Brisbane, Gold & Sunshine Coasts helpful Undertake ongoing drug and alcohol testing Who are we Howie Transport is a local, family-owned and operated company, providing local and interstate freight transport services.
