Role Overview The position is based in the Administration Block/Sick Bay. Additional duties consistent with the classification and requirements of the role may be allocated as required. This position forms part of the Administration Team and is the school's Nominated First Aid Officer. The successful applicant will provide high-quality first aid support, student services support, and administrative assistance to ensure smooth daily operations. Primary Duties - First Aid Officer * Manage whole-school first aid, including administering treatment to students, staff, and contractors who present to Sick Bay. * Record all incidents and required information in WH&S systems, OneSchool, and ID Attend. * Administer student medications throughout the school day in line with departmental requirements. * Maintain and update medical files, documentation, and all required OneSchool and ID Attend records. * Oversee the First Aid Room, including stock control, replenishment of supplies, and maintaining ice stocks. Primary Duties - Student Services Officer * Oversee the Student Services window, responding to enquiries from students and staff. * Manage student late arrivals, early departures, and associated sign-in/sign-out processes. * Coordinate communication for students throughout the day (including emails, voicemail messages, QParents notifications, etc.). * Complete daily roll-related tasks, including continuous monitoring and follow-up. * Follow up unmarked rolls and ensure excursion rolls are submitted; create excursion checklists for relief staff where required. * Send SMS notifications to parents/caregivers regarding student absences.
