Your new role: As the Ward Administrator for the Surgical Care Unit, you'll be the central point of contact for patients, visitors and staff, ensuring smooth operations and timely support across the ward. You'll play a key role in coordinating admissions, discharges and patient flow, while maintaining a professional and welcoming ward environment. Key responsibilities include: * Managing reception enquiries, calls and front-counter support. * Providing accurate patient information and assisting visitors while coordinating appointments, resources and patient movement to support flow. * Prioritising tasks and operating independently during busy periods. * Upholding service quality, safety standards and respectful interactions. This role operates independently after hours 14.30-20.30, requiring strong judgement, responsiveness and a calm, solutions-focused approach.
