Your new role: In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth and compliant operation of the Private Practice Department and its clinics. * Process specialist billing, payment receipting, discharge invoices, and patient quotes using MediRecords and other clinical information systems in line with MBS and Medicare Australia requirements. * Manage named patient referrals and verify patient eligibility by utilising systems such as PowerChart, HBCIS, SRWS, and ieMR. * Provide accurate guidance to consultants, medical officers, and clinic staff regarding billing, funding sources, referrals, and private practice processes. * Contribute to continuous improvement by maintaining procedure manuals, supporting revenue optimisation, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and legislative requirements. About you: You are a proactive, detail-driven administrator who thrives in a busy health environment and is committed to delivering accurate, customer-focused service. * Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and provide timely, accurate support. * Excellent organisational and planning abilities, working autonomously to meet deadlines and solve problems in a fast-paced setting. * Commitment to continuous learning, with the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of clinical systems, MBS guidelines, medical terminology, and private practice processes. * A quality-focused approach, with a willingness to work within established frameworks while supporting positive change and ongoing service improvement.
