About the Role Sheldon College is seeking an Administration Assistant – The Arts & Music to provide high-quality administrative support to our Arts Faculty and Performance Music Program. You will work closely with the Director of The Arts, music staff, tutors, students and families to help coordinate lessons, ensembles, rehearsals and events, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our arts and music programs in a fast-paced, creative environment. About You You are an organised, proactive administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and can keep a complex program running smoothly. You will bring: Strong administration experience, ideally supporting multiple staff or programs Experience working in a school setting, or in music/arts/events administration (highly regarded) Experience with TASS, SchoolBox and Clipboard Demonstrated ability to: Coordinate schedules, room bookings and timetables for lessons, rehearsals and events Maintain accurate rolls and student records, and manage term-by-term rollovers and updates Support event coordination (incursions, excursions, performances, competitions) including activity applications and parent/student communications Manage resource and equipment processes such as instrument hire, maintenance and a music library Prepare billing information for Finance in relation to instrument hire Excellent interpersonal skills – confident dealing with parents, students and staff via phone, email and face-to-face Strong organisation and time management, with the ability to juggle competing priorities calmly and reliably High standards of professionalism, confidentiality, presentation and adherence to school policies Eligibility to hold a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) About Us Sheldon College is an independent, co-educational, non-denominational College situated in Redland City, catering for students from 15 months of age through to Year 12.
