About the role This position provides a high level of administration skills and customer service to the BreastScreen Queensland Ipswich Service. The key responsibilities of the role include: * Provide high standard, effective booking, appointment and reception services at both fixed and mobile sites within designated timeframes. * Have ability to acquire knowledge of BreastScreen Queensland's Statewide database, BSQR3, and provide accurate data entry in order to meet strict Quality Assurance processes and National Accreditation Standards. * Provide efficient and effective keyboard, clerical and general administration services including typing, formatting, photocopying, data entry and filing. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following: * To provide an effective customer focused service within a confidential working environment with a proven ability to establish work priorities and meet deadlines in a constantly changing environment. * Ability to work as a team ember with a high level of autonomy to manage daily workloads and to achieve the goals of the service and an ability to use initiative to identify opportunities for quality improvement within a team environment and to resolve problems within the requirements of the position. * Well-developed written and oral communication skills with an ability to effectively interact and negotiate with all levels of staff and the public in accordance with confidentiality guidelines. Proficiency in the application of internal hospital information systems in addition to Microsoft Word and Excel is required with knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of basic medical terminology to extract and interpret pertinent information from patient medical records and hospital information systems. * Is accountable for continuing to motivate themselves to achieve high work standards Mandatory Requirements: * Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16 About West Moreton Health West Moreton Health is one of the most rapidly evolving health services in the south east corner, with a community growth expected to almost double to more than 588,000 by 2036.
