Your Key Responsibilities: * Monitor and complete performance analysis of client's infrastructure and EUC environments and making recommendations for improvement. (SFIA: CPMG 4) * Provide feedback to clients, the Service Management and Application Management teams regarding the status of problems and service requests to ensure that agreed service levels and client service standards are achieved. (SFIA: CSMG 3) * Participate in a team of technical specialists to undertake the development, configuration and implementation of new initiatives and solutions within a large ICT environment. (SFIA: ITOP 3) * Undertake change management activities associated with infrastructure provisioning. (SFIA: RELM 3) * Provide 2nd and 3rd level support and maintenance of the Departmental IT infrastructure. (SFIA: USUP 3) * Liaise effectively with clients, multi-disciplinary technology groups and external stakeholders on enterprise infrastructure matters. * Research and provide advice in the continuous improvement of existing IT infrastructure and evaluation of new and emerging technologies. * Maintain knowledge of current trends, industry and technology directions and product road maps for enterprise infrastructure technology. Technical skills, abilities and cultural capability: * Experience managing virtualisation platforms, specifically Hyper-Converged Infrastructure using Nutanix. * Experience working in an ITIL based operating environment and ServiceNow. * Experience of Microsoft technologies including Active Directory & Azure Active Directory/Entra ID, DHCP & DNS services, Windows Server (2012 R2 and above), Active Directory Federation Services, Endpoint Manager (Intune and Autopilot), System Centre Configuration Manager, Microsoft 365, Azure, RDS/Windows365, Teams, Office Applications, PowerShell, Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Microsoft 365. * Experience in building and maintaining end user device MOE in/for corporate or enterprise environments for desktops/laptops, mobiles, and tablets. * Performs other essential duties and tasks specific to the position as required.
