About the Role We are seeking a qualified NZ-registered electrician to join our industrial maintenance team at NZ steel mill in Glenbrook. While experience in controls, indication, or instrumentation is highly desirable, all NZ-registered electricians will be considered. We may also have other industrial projects. Benefits Competitive pay rate with contracting or PAYE options PAYE - market rates, 8% holiday pay, and KiwiSaver Weekly pay cycle Monday–Friday weekday work with weekends being optional Duties Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment Troubleshoot and fault-find in electrical, control, and instrumentation systems Work with PLCs, motor starters, sensors, and control panels Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site procedures Collaborate with engineers and operators to minimise downtime Skills and Experience Qualified and NZ-registered electrician with valid EWRB license Industrial electrical experience preferred Experience with controls, instrumentation, or indication is a bonus Valid Site Safe or equivalent safety certification NZ work rights and valid driver’s license/reliable transport About Stellar Recruitment Stellar Recruitment currently operates in Australia and New Zealand.
