About the Role As a Project Engineer, you will be integral to the successful delivery of land subdivision projects, overseeing all technical aspects from pre-construction through to final handover. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Plan, execute, and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, site supervisors, and local authorities. Contract Administration: Manage RFI's, variations, progress claims, and subcontractor contracts. Technical Oversight: Review and interpret civil design drawings and specifications. Manage quality assurance documentation and site inspections. Financial Control: Monitor project costs and forecast expenditure to maintain profitability. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all site activities strictly adhere to WHS legislation and company safety standards. What We're Looking For A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proven experience (2 years is ideal) as a Project Engineer, ideally within the land subdivision, civil infrastructure, or bulk earthworks sectors . Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, particularly for roads, drainage, utility services, and earthworks. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills. Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contractual documents.
