Electrical Engineer | NEPEAN Longwall (Kurri Kurri) NEPEAN Longwall is expanding its product range with the introduction of CCTEG’s fleet of Battery, Diesel and Development mining equipment for both hard- and soft-rock applications into the Australian market. This role is critical in supporting that integration and ensuring successful deployment across our operations. This pivotal role reports directly to the Integration Project Manager and will be responsible for the electrical engineering aspects of the integration and ongoing business model, ensuring compliance, certification, and technical excellence across all electrical functions. Key Responsibilities: Lead electrical standards, compliance, and certification activities across the business. Act as the AS3800 Responsible Person for workshop compliance. Oversee and manage equipment certification in alignment with Australian Standards and mining regulations. Provide technical electrical support for both sales and hire operations. Contribute to the development and execution of the integration strategy within NEPEAN Longwall. About You: Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer (or equivalent). Experience in equipment certification or management of electrical compliance in an underground coal mining environment, or alternatively, heavy manufacturing experience. Eligible and capable of acting as the AS3800 Responsible Person for the business. RPEQ certification (or ability to obtain) required. Strong technical acumen, leadership capability, and strategic mindset to support a complex business integration.
