ConsultANZ is looking for a Contract Administrator to join our client’s dynamic team in Sydney. With a proven track record in delivering high-profile infrastructure projects for both government and private sector clients, our client is an industry leader across tunnelling, bridges, roads, slope stabilisation, and other critical sectors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As part of a driven and collaborative commercial team, you will be responsible for: Managing subcontractor agreements and monitoring contract performance. Reviewing, certifying, and processing payment claims, variations, and correspondence. Drafting, negotiating, and finalising contract variations, project programs, and service agreements. Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and company standards. Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships to support contract delivery. Identifying risks, reporting issues, and escalating concerns to management where required. Providing commercial advice and support across project teams. Assisting senior management with contract-related decision-making and implementation. Supporting the Procurement Manager when required. Evaluating subcontractor performance, analysing KPIs, and preparing quarterly reports. Responding to contract queries and resolving disputes in a timely manner. Preparing, reviewing, and submitting commercial and operational reports. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline. 2–4 years’ experience in contract administration or a similar role. Sound knowledge of contract management and administration processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office; familiarity with Xero and Procore highly regarded. Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and analytical skills. High attention to detail with the ability to work independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of contract risk assessment and commercial reporting. BENEFITS Competitive base salary: $70k–$90k super (depending on experience). Permanent full-time role with long-term stability.
