About the Company We are representing a rapidly growing EPC contractor delivering utility-scale renewable energy projects across Australia. About the Role As the Engineering Lead, you'll be responsible for leading the design and technical delivery of large-scale solar farm projects from concept through construction and commissioning. You will coordinate internal engineers, external consultants, EPC partners, OEMs, and grid stakeholders (AEMO, TNSP/NSP) to ensure projects meet performance, quality, and compliance requirements. It will suit someone from an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background, with design experience on solar farms in Australia. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate engineering design for utility-scale Solar PV projects from feasibility through commissioning Provide technical leadership across electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering deliverables Review and validate engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and grid connection documentation Work closely with contractors, OEMs and key stakeholders (TNSP/NSP, AEMO, EPC partners) to resolve technical issues Drive engineering governance, design risk management, and continuous improvement across the portfolio Mentor junior engineers and support growth of internal engineering capability About You Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Experience across renewable energy, ideally from an EPC perspective Good knowledge on solar farm design and issues in Australia Ability to work autonomously when needed and also lead cross-disciplinary technical teams Passion for renewable energy and seeking long term move Benefits Ability to be based anywhere on the East Coast (travel when needed) Fast-growing company EPC in the solar space Existing team with some talented engineers already in place Salary: $180-200k super How to Apply If you are interested and believe you have the required experience, please apply now with your updated CV and cover letter.
