About your opportunity: Hospital In the Home provides direct patient care to inpatients in their home environment. The service provides community-based care for inpatients in their home from Palm Cove to the north, Gordonvale to the south and the back of Lamb's Range to the west. About your role: * Effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders and staff, ensuring high standards of service provided when answering client enquiries via the telephone ensuring enquiries are directed to the appropriate staff member within acceptable timeframes. Screen calls and re-direct where appropriate, answer routine queries and prioritise calls. * Manage and monitor the quality of manual and electronic patient information and financial systems for the team to ensure that data and information is up to date and accurate: thus, facilitating safe practice and appropriate information to clinicians. * Process admissions, discharges, account variations, FIMS data entry and running reports as required for HITH patients on relevant data systems. * Contribute administrative support as prioritised including word processing, meeting secretariat functions, organising meeting venues and catering, incident reporting, team travel arrangements and human resource management processes.
