Seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and grow its sales operations. This role involves managing a small, high-performing team while driving national sales growth across the company’s specialty ingredient portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, experience in sales leadership, and a proven track record in the food, nutrition, or ingredient sectors. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the national sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets. Lead, mentor, and manage a small sales team, fostering high performance and accountability. Identify new business opportunities and expand relationships with existing clients. Maintain and strengthen supplier and customer relationships to support business growth. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy. Collaborate with operations, marketing, and technical teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management. Requirements: Proven experience in sales and business development within food, nutrition, or specialty ingredients sectors. Demonstrated experience managing a small team, including coaching and performance management. Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work autonomously while maintaining alignment with company goals. Knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand market landscape preferred.
