An exciting opportunity exists for a Social Worker (HP4) to join the West Moreton Mental Health Intellectual Developmental Disability Service (MHIDDS). The role provides specialist mental health assessment, intervention, and consultation for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex mental health needs. You will work collaboratively within a skilled multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, person-centred, trauma informed, and recovery-oriented care. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following: * Ability to apply high level knowledge and skills in non-routine clinical social work practice across the continuum of care within the context of intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and mental health. * Ability to apply high level of profession specific knowledge, expertise and skill in clinical assessments and intervention within the context of intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and mental health. * High level interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to provide clinical leadership, professional advice and articulate social work perspective. * Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, developing partnerships in service delivery and maintaing * respectful and collaborative relationships with team, staff, clients, visitors and other key stakeholders. Ability to provide evidence-based services relation to mental health care of patients with intellectual and/or developmental disability.
