Your new role: As the Senior Administration Officer (Medical Imaging Finance), you will be responsible for managing daily revenue, billing, and finance functions within the Medical Imaging Department. You will ensure compliance with Queensland Health policies, support financial sustainability, and provide high-quality service to patients, staff, and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: * Undertaking daily billing operations and managing revenue streams * Processing requisitions, invoices, and liaising with vendors and accounts teams * Identifying and reconciling Activity Based Funding and Own Source Revenue opportunities * Managing Medicare, health fund, and compensable billing, including debt follow-up * Providing advice to staff and patients regarding billing policies and Medicare item numbers * Delivering training to administrative staff in billing processes and compliance About you: We are seeking a finance-savvy and detail-oriented administrator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a busy health environment.
