Your role at St John of God Subiaco Hospital As an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Cardiac and Vascular) , you will be responsible for the provision of safe and compassionate clinical care, whilst working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve best practice patient outcomes. Our Cardiac and Vascular Intervention Lab (CVIL) offers state-of-the-art equipment and highly trained medical staff to provide the best care for patients with heart conditions. Our team is dedicated to ensuring each patient receives personalized treatment and support throughout their recovery journey. SJGH Subiaco have a current redevelopment which will bring together Cardiac and Vascular Interventional Services, a new Coronary Care Unit and a Hybrid Suite in the new theatre complex. We provide opportunities for nurses to enhance and discover new skills, supporting a range of different case mixes. The Position Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required. Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital. Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate. Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and precepting staff. Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives. You will hold registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse. You will have a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills. To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. It is essential that you are experienced in Cardiac in CVIL. Endovascular experience is a plus!
