HC Driver - Tennyson The Role Toll People are seeking HC drivers for local PUD container work in Brisbane metro. The position starts at 4.30pm & based out of Tennyson, Immediate start is available for the right candidate. Benefits Above award rate - Weekly pay cycle $50.45 per hour Full on-site training provided Ongoing communication and support Modern fleet and facilities Safe working environment Opportunities for permanent positions Key Responsibilities Effectively move and deliver containers as per customer request Ensure that any Dangerous Goods to be loaded are segregated and restrained to comply with Dangerous Goods Code. When performing pickups and upon return to the depot, paperwork is to be handed in at checkpoint to allow correct processing. At point of pickup or delivery ensure that the proof of 'pickup' or 'delivery' is signed and is accurate. Cube and weigh freight when necessary, so that correct charges are raised to the customer. Report and carryout equipment checks and defects. Prepare and complete all documentation in accordance with Company policy and procedures Perform any other duties that may be required from time to time in accordance with the award Skills & Experience Current HC licence or higher Must be willing to follow safe work procedures & instructions. Experience with Containers a bonus but not necessary. Experience driving in Brisbane and knowledge of the area is essential. Safe manual handling of freight as required.
