About the Role The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the department's Freedom of Information (FOI) team which determines access to documents under the Freedom of Information Act 1982. The Administrative Officers provide administrative support including: * front of house support including answering incoming calls from internal and external stakeholders and managing a central email inbox * administrative support including managing the team's request tracker and corresponding with internal and external stakeholders (queries, ad hoc requests and searches for documents). About the Division The Administration Officer, Freedom of Information, is located within the Integrity, Assurance and Executive Services division. The division provides expert advice and support to the department through a range of portfolio, advisory and assurance services. The division also provides support to the department's executives and ministers and the Office of the Secretary (OOS) and manages all Cabinet and Parliament processes. In addition, it undertakes a range of time limited projects to support the efficient operation of the department.
