About The Client The Trustee for Lecky Road Officer Unit Trust is a leading property development entity focused on delivering high-quality residential, commercial projects, and industrial projects across Victoria. As the demand for services grows, they seek an experienced and passionate Construction Project Manager to join their team in Ravenhall, VIC. The Role This position involves assisting with and overseeing elements of construction planning, coordination and execution under the direction of senior management. You will help ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards of quality, safety and compliance. This is a full-time position with an annual salary set at $80,000 plus superannuation. The Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks: Coordinating and liaising with the design team, procurement, council team, and other stakeholders from initial site set up to completion. Accurately reading and interpreting project plans and technical specifications. Coordinating and arranging building inspections by local authorities, and other relevant professionals. Manages the planning, organization, direction, and coordination of civil engineering and construction projects. Oversees the allocation and management of resources throughout the construction process. Record keeping to ensure the operation and implementation coordinate work programs for the sites, and effective cost control and efficient running of the project Prepare tenders bids and preparing paperwork recording, filing as required Working closely with architects, engineers, and various technical and trades professionals to prepare thorough consultation records and detailed reports, ensuring all aspects of the project are meticulously documented and coordinated. Liaising with the consultants to guarantee adherence to building legislation while upholding the highest standards of performance, quality, cost efficiency, and safety throughout the project. Assisting and coordinating with town planners and architects with the submission of plans to local authorities Recording and reporting project progress regularly and organizing ongoing meetings when required The Requirements Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in project management. At least 2 years of experience in cost control, project scheduling, and contract administration. At least 2 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing subcontractors. At least 2 years of experience managing on-site WHS compliance and safety systems. At least 2 years of experience developing project methodologies, budgets, and delivery frameworks. At least 2 years of experience managing risk, quality assurance, and compliance audits in construction environments. Experience in liaising with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities. Understanding of Australian Building Codes, construction standards, and contract law. Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. Advanced proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines effectively. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
